Daigle-Ducote exchange vows in Lafayette
Bethany Christina Daigle and Brennon Paul Ducote exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, January 30, 2010, during a candle light ceremony at The Family Church in Lafayette. Pastor Derrick Capello served as officiant.
The bride is the daughter of Byron and Linda Daigle of Lafayette. She is the granddaughter of Clovis and Goldie Daigle and Wilton and Ethel Hebert. Bethany is a graduate from Lafayette Christian Academy and Acadiana School of Cosmetology. She is currently employed with Kristy's Hair Salon and Home Bank.
The groom is the son of Steven and Melissa Ducote, of Avoyelles Parish, and is the grandson of Perry and Myra Ducote and of Kenneth and Judy Juneau. He is a graduate of University of Lafayette where he obtained a bachelor degree in Business Administration / Political Science and will attend the University of Lafayette in the fall for his masters. Brennon is currently employed with H & S Construction as a project manager and also a serves for the national guard.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an antique gown of lustrous lace, hand made by her mother, with distinct features from the sweetheart neckline, to the elegantly fitted bodice, down to the vintage lace train with layers of box pleated ruffles.
Jessica Daigle Verret, sister of the bride, served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids included Christine Daigle, Betsy Ducote, Megan Parra, Tiffany Bernard, and Sophie Sonnier. Junior bridesmaids included Elise Juneau and Isabelle Ducote.
Lucas Welch, cousin of the groom, served as Best Man. Groomsmen included Gab Armand, Alex Brochard, Nicholas Daigle, Tim Marchand, and Robby White. Ushers included Dustin Parra, Chase Verret, and Kyle Jeansonne.
Immediately following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at Sunny Meade in Scott. After returning from a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Lafayette, Louisiana.
