DOMESTIC DISPUTE RESULTS IN ONE STABBED

According to Sheriff Doug Anderson detectives from the Criminal Investigations Unit arrested Caitlin Sullivan age 19 of 5244 Highway 115 Lot # 16 Bunkie, Louisiana early Monday morning on Attempted Second Degree Murder and Domestic Abuse Battery charges.

Sheriff Anderson said that his deputies were called to the address after Caitlin Sullivan ran to a neighbor’s residence to have them call Acadian Ambulance.

According to Sheriff Anderson it is alleged the couple were involved in a domestic dispute when Caitlin Sullivan allegedly stabbed her husband Patrick Sullivan once in the lower abdomen. Patrick Sullivan was transported to Rapides Medical Center where he is reported in stable but guarded condition.

Anderson said Caitlin Sullivan was booked into the Avoyelles Parish Detention Center I and is currently being held at Avoyelles Detention Center IV without bond.
