James Jackson, Age 82 of Moreauville

Funeral services for James Lones Jackson will take place on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial services will commence at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude’ Funeral Home.

Visitations will be held at the Escude’ Funeral Home of Moreauville prior to the funeral, beginning at 8:00 a.m., and a rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m.

James Jackson, age 82 of Moreauville, passed away at the Valley View Nursing Home on Friday, February 5, 2010.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Jackson; parents, Horace Jackson and Ida Johnson Jackson; son, Herbert Jackson; four brothers; three sisters; one daughter; and three grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Jackson; sons, Jasper Jackson of Alexandria, Authur Jackson of Moreauville, Clarence Jackson of Arcola, Texas, Beroin Jackson of Houston, Texas, Anual Jackson of Melbourne, Florida, Eddie Jones of Mexia, Texas, Murilyn Jackson of Moreauville, Troy Jackson of Moreauville.

Pallbearers were Troy Jackson, Arthur Jackson, Jr., Clarence Jackson, Anual Jackson, Beruin Jackson, Eddie Jones.

He is also survived by his 27 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
