Avoyelles ends week with another 'zero COVID' report

Avoyelles Parish stretched its "zero new cases" streak to three days when the Friday report from the state health department found no new cases of COVID and no additional COVID-related deaths in the parish since Thursday's update.

That leaves the parish's pandemic totals at 11,564 cases involving 10,767 individuals, of whom 797 have been reinfected during the pandemic and 206 died.
