Avoyelles has one COVID case in Friday update

It was another day with fewer than 100 tests and only one COVID-positive result for Avoyelles Parish when the state health department released its daily update at noon Friday.
There were 79 tests. There were no positive results out of the 49 molecular tests and only one positive in the 30 rapid result tests. There were no additional COVID-related deaths.
The parish's 13-month totals are 4,045 cases (3,517 lab, 528 rapid result) and 122 deaths (113/9). The state's totals on Friday were 451,955 cases and 10,282 deaths.
