Avoyelles' Tuesday COVID update: nine cases, no deaths, 466 tests

Avoyelles Parish had only nine new cases of COVID-19 out of 466 test results in Tuesday's update from the state health department. Of those cases, there were five among 446 molecular tests and four in 20 rapid result tests. There were no additional deaths.

As of Tuesday the parish's pandemic totals are 3,957 cases (3,471/486) and 118 deaths (111/7). The state's totals are 434,926 cases and 9,769 deaths.
