COVID count now at 294 in Avoyelles; death toll remains 11

Avoyelles ended its worst week of the COVID pandemic with another double-digit jump in its total number of positive tests for the coronavirus, going from 277 on Thursday to 294 as of noon Friday.

The total number of apparently new cases since Monday's total of 206 was 88, which includes a one-day high of 32 from Monday to Tuesday.
