No new COVID cases in Avoyelles Tuesday

There were no new cases of COVID and no additional deaths from the virus reported for Avoyelles Parish in the state health department's update at noon Tuesday.

The report had only 56 test results -- 31 lab tests and 25 rapid result tests. The parish's pandemic totals remained at 3,998 cases (3,496/502) and 121 deaths (112/9). The state totals as of Tuesday were 444,414 cases and 10,132 deaths from the disease.
