Only 10 additional COVID cases in Avoyelles on Tuesday

There were only 10 more active cases of COVID reported in Avoyelles on Tuesday than there had been on Monday, bringing the parish close to end of double-digit daily increases of the past six weeks.
The Tuesday update from the Louisiana Department of Health reported nine first-time infections and one reinfection in the parish. There were no additional deaths.
The parish's pandemic totals as of Tuesday were 11,684 total cases, 10,684 individuals infected, 784 reinfections and 195 deaths.
