Wednesday COVID update for Avoyelles: 114 new cases, no additional deaths

Avoyelles Parish has 95 first-time COVID infections and 19 reinfections identified in the COVID update from the Louisiana Deparment of Health released Wednesday, for a total increase of 114 active cases. There were no additional deaths since the Tuesday report.
As of Wednesday, the parish's pandemic totals were 10,398 individuals infected, 189 deaths and 722 reinfections, for a total case count of 11,120. The state totals were 1,179,814 cases with 15,781 fatalities.
