Marksville man murdered in home last night; 17 year old arrested

A Marksville man was attacked and murdered in his home last night.

Tim Borrel, age 69, was found stabbed in his home, after a 911 call by a neighbor.

A 17-year old has been arrested and is being held in the Avoyelles Parish jail.

Borrel's truck was apparently stolen by the suspect.

Borrel was a popular house painter in Avoyelles Parish.
