Marksville police investigating fatal shooting

As of noon today (Jan. 24), an early-morning shooting death in Marksville is still under investigation and no arrests had been made, Marksville Police Chief Elster Smith said.
Smith would not release any details of the incident, but said a news release on the case will be issued in the near future.
The shooting occurred just after midnight Friday (Jan. 24).
