One more case of COVID in Avoyelles confirmed today.

The cumulative number of positive tests in Avoyelles of COVID grew by one today, to a total of 93.
The number of deaths remains at 9 in the parish.
The state released those figures at noon.
Police Jury officials are unveiling a plan soon to get the number of tests conducted to 4 percent. Currently about 1.5 percent of the Avoyelles population has been tested.
