Avoyelles Sheriff's Office seeks public assistance in identifying burglary suspect

The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office (APSO) is asking for the public's help to identify a suspect in one or more Mansura-area burglaries. Anyone with information concerning a crime should call APSO at 318-253-4000.

APSO has released photos and a video of the suspect and a vehicle he used in at least one aggravated burglary.

"Strong relationships between our agency and the communities we serve are critical to maintaining public safety and effective policing," an APSO Criminal Investigations Unit commander Capt. Tim Ryan said. "We rely on the cooperation of community members and concerned citizens to provide information about crime in their communities and neighborhoods.

"Please help us prevent and solve crime in Avoyelles Parish," Ryan continued. "Working together we can do great things."
