Avoyelles under tornado watch, flash flood warning

As tropical rainstorm Beta makes its way toward Avoyelles, the parish has been placed under a tornado watch and flash flood warning -- both set to expire at 10 p.m. Areas of the parish have received between 2 and 7 inches of rain today. Forecasters indicate Beta could bring 3-5 inches more as it passes through the parish Thursday.
