Bunkie PD reports stand off on Main Street ends peacefully

UPDATE: Police have reported negotiating with the suspect has been peaceful and the stand off is resolved without incident.

The following has been issued by the Bunkie Police on a stand off at the station on Maint Street. No other information is available at this time:
Please be advised to stay safe on Main St. we are currently at a stand off in front of Bunkie Police department with a male subject who is threatening to kill himself, his girlfriend and the police.. we have him blocked in Police Dept parking lot and are currently waiting for assistance from APSO and LSP.
