Evergreen Council accepts 6.3 mills tax levy

The Evergreen Council voted unanimously to adopt a resolution on the 2022 property tax. After public comment during the May meeting on the issue, the 2022 property tax levy was accepted at a rate of 6.3 mills.
The council also voted to hold a public hearing in June for the town’s budget. A hearing will be held June 14 on the 2021/2022 Revised Budget and the 2022/23 Budget.
