There are still 922 Cleco customers and 20 Entergy customers in Avoyelles Parish still without power due to Hurricane Laura, which passed through the parish last Thursday (Aug. 27).
The Marksville Police Department has confirmed what is believed to be a murder/suicide. The fatal incident occurred on or just off of Laurel Street on Monday. No other details have been released.
