Marcellus Prier, 22, of Marksville was arrested Tuesday (Nov. 27) by Broussard P.D. officers in a chase-and-arrest incident that briefly required schools in Broussard to be placed on lockdown.
TOURING SPRING BAYOU
Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries Secretary Jack Montoucet (center, in jacket) took a brief tour of Spring Bayou Recreation Area ON OCT. 29. During his visit, Montoucet discussed several issues related to the future development and improvement of outdoor recreation in Avoyelles Parish.
