Betty Bordelon, 81, Marksville

Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Betty Adell Bordelon will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in St. Rita Catholic Church, Alexandria, with Father Louis Skylar officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Ball, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mrs. Bordelon, 81, of Marksville, entered eternal rest on Friday, March 18, 2022, at Christus St Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, LA.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed crafting, painting, playing cards, and traveling. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Bordelon; her parents, Henry and Lula Bonnette; one daughter, Connie Gagnard; one son, Randy Bordelon; one grandson, Dustin Bordelon; one brother, James Bonnette; two sisters, Bobbie Sealey and Frances Philpot; and one son-in-law, Ronnie Gaspard.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include two sons, Danny Bordelon, and his wife, Robin, of Boyce, and Mike Bordelon, and his wife, Linda, of Alexandria; one sister, Shirley Bonnette; of Tioga; fifteen grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A Holy Rosary will be recited at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. until time of departure to the church.

Pallbearers honored to serve are: BJ Gaspard, Chris Bordelon, Shawn Bordelon, Daniel Bordelon, Dave Philpot, Jamie Savoy, Brain Lemoine, and Logan Ponthier.
