Charles Telman Belt, Sr., age 76, of Marksville

MARKSVILLE - Funeral services for Mr. Charles Telman Belt, Sr. will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, December 15, 2016 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville with Brother Gary Jones officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery in Pineville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m.  
Mr. Belt, age 76, of Marksville, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. He was born on October 27, 1940.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Gary Gairdiner Belt; his wife, Mary Belt; and son, Joey Belt.
Those left to cherish his memory include one son, Charles Belt, Jr. of Lafayette; three daughters, Antoinette Belt (Hal) Edwards of Melbourne, Florida, Gary Belt of Gretna, Nebraska, and Charlotte Belt (Lonnie) Bear of Lampasas,Texas; one brother, William “Bill” Belt of Marksville; one sister, Julie (Chris) Bernard of Brouillette; and five grandchildren, Devin Edwards, Seth Edwards, Dylan Bernard, Claire Bernard, and Noah Bear.
