Cindy Ann Gauthier, 54, Batchelor

Funeral services for Mrs. Cindy Ann Gauthier will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville with Father Dan O’Connor officiating. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Mausoleum #2. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA.

Mrs. Gauthier, age 54, of Batchelor, LA. passed on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at “The Crossing” Clarity Hospice Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA.

She is proceeded in death by her father, Myron Gauthier; brother, Scotty Gauthier.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Joshua Dauzat (Brittany) of New Roads, LA; Jacob Dauzat (Whitnie) of Batchelor, LA; Jeremy Fikes of Marksville, LA; daughter, Brittany Gauthier of Hessmer, LA; mother, Barbara McNeal of Marksville, LA; 5 grandchildren, Drake Dauzat, Brilyn Dauzat, Kimber Dauzat, Brookelyn Dauzat, and Dawson Dauzat.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.

Visitation will reopen on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. until time of services in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2023.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Jacob Dauzat, Hunter Gauthier, Blane Bilbo, Joshua Dauzat, John Rachal, and Cory Daigrepont. Honorary pallbearer to serve will be Drake Dauzat.
