Cynthia Juneau, 66, Marksville

A Mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Cynthia Ducote Juneau will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 18th, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Dan O’Connor, Father Derek Ducote, and Deacon Ted Moulord officiating.
Interment will be held at St. Joseph Mausoleum #2. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mrs. Cynthia Juneau, age 66, of Marksville, LA. passed away at her home peacefully on Wednesday, February 17th, 2022.
Mrs. Juneau is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Doris Ingo Ducote.
Mrs. Cynthia was referred to as “Nana” by her nieces and nephews. She retired from the Avoyelles Parish School Board after 46 years of service as the Secretary of Superintendent.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Sherwin Juneau of Marksville, LA; brother, Chris Ducote (Kelly) of Baton Rouge, LA; sisters, Cathy Brouillette (Ted) of Marksville, LA, Christine McNeal of Marksville, LA, and Janice Roy (Dale) of Deville, LA.
Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home on Friday, February 18th, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 10:15 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers with Father Derek Ducote officiating.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Jason Brouillette, Brenner Roy, Jacque Roy, Cory Roy, Kryle Roy, and Andre Caubarreaux.
