Mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Augustine will be held on Friday, May 3rd, 2024 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Marksville, LA. 11:00 a.m. with Father Abraham Varghese officiating. Interment will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.

Mrs. Augustine, age 101, of Marksville, LA. passed away on Monday, April 29th, 2024 in Marksville, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Augustine; parents, Gustave and Clophine Luke Day; sons, Michael Cole and Peter Johnson; one brother, Frank Joseph; two step sons, Joseph Augustine and Donald Augustine; sisters, Leazima Patterson, Rosalie Blake, Agnes Keys and Le Esther Joseph.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Ruth Day Bazile of Marksville and Anne Day Blade (James) of Alexandria; step children, Rose Barron, Patricia Milton, Mary Augustine, John Augustine, Jim Augustine, Allen Augustine; seven grandchildren, Julian Cole, Michelle Cole, Shannon Gonzales, Ryan Day, Carlos Dominick, Victoria E. Ford and Clifton M. Dominick; twelve great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3rd, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:40 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 10:00 a.m.
