Ethan Strother, 19, Marksville

Funeral services for Mr. Ethan John Strother, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2022 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville with Reverend Keith Lamartiniere officiating. Burial will be held at the Cushman Cemetery in Marksville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mr. Strother, age 19, of Marksville, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 in Texas. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Herman Strother and Lena Kelone; maternal grandparents, Hixon and Mazie Dauzat.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, James and Lisa Strother of Marksville; one brother, James Anthony Strother (Kayla) of Marksville; two sisters, Nicole Dauzat (Chris) of Marksville, Dana Hinson (Vincent) of Marksville; Niece, Emma Strother of Marksville and Fiancé, Sydney Bordelon of Marksville.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services on Thursday, at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are James A. Strother, Bryce Moseley, Drake St. Romain, Luke Normand, Dyllon Michel and Zack Dauzat. Honorary Pallbearers include P. J. St. Romain, Dominick Desoto Christian Laprairie and employees of Shelton Solutions.
