Frances Mayeaux, 89, of Lecompte

Funeral services for Frances J. Mayeaux will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2021 in The Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria with Reverend Mike Evans officiating. Burial will follow in St. Maurice Cemetery, St. Maurice, Louisiana.
The family requests that visitation be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Pallbearers will be Kevin James, Cole Gremillion, Danny Grayson, Ronnie Waters, Gary Garcie and Thomas Meshell.

Frances Mayeaux, 89, of Lecompte, passed from this life on Saturday, December 18, 2021.

Mrs. Mayeaux was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. During her working career, she was an Administrative Assistant in the car upholstery industry. Frances enjoyed reading, sewing and dearly loved being with her family. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend who was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Mayeaux and her parents, Jimmie James and Delia McDermit James.
Those left to cherish her memory her daughter, Toni Poole and husband, Larry; brother, J.P. James and wife, Marilyn; niece, DeeDee Gremillion; nephew, Kevin James and wife, Traci; great nieces and great nephews, Morgan Gremillion, Cole Gremillion, Brent Huff, Lauren Huff and Jace James and a host of other family members and friends.
