MOREAUVILLE - Funeral mass for Ignatius Lemoine of Moreauville will take place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, April 20, 2018 beginning at 1 p.m. with Fr. Jose Pallipurath officiating. Burial will commence at the Sacred Heart Catholic Mausoleum. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Visitation will also be held that morning at the Escude Funeral Home of Moreauville from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Ignatius Lemoine, age 88, passed away at the Hessmer Nursing Home on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. He was born on July 29, 1929.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferrier and Dolores Lemoine.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty Lemoine; children, Deborah Lemoine, Jude Martin (Sue) Lemoine, Samuel (Karen) Lemoine, Hansel (Beth) Lemoine; grandchildren, Nicholas (Lauren) Lemoine, Bradley Lemoine, Mary Beth (Scott) Schilling, Lauren Bordelon, Melanie (Adam) Laborde, Katie Lemoine, Jeremy (Christa) Lemoine, Cory Lemoine; and great-grandchildren, Vivian Lemoine, Jude Bailey Schilling, Layton Fontenot, Benjamin Bordelon, Peyton Bordelon, Alex Laborde, Caroline Laborde, Lillian Laborde, Alaina Lemoine, Leland Lemoine, Layla Lemoine, Sadie Lemoine and Navaeh Remillory.
