Jonathan Bartell "Bean" Jones, age 35, of Marksville

Funeral services for Jonathan Bartell Jones “Bean” will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Pilgrim Rest Baptist church in Simmesport. Burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lettsworth. Services are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Simmesport.

Jonathan Jones passed away at a family residence in Simmesport on February 27, 2019. 
He was preceded in death by his mother, Priscilla Jones, son, Titus Jones, brother, Ezekiel Decoben, Paternal grandparents, Manuel and Hazel Kirk sr., and maternal grandfather, Bobby Ray.

Those left to cherish his memory are his spouse of sixteen years, Stephanie Turner of Marksville, daughters, Priscilla Jones, Sincere Jones and Zahniah Jones all from Marksville, son, Jonathan Jones Jr of Marksville, father and step mother, Manuel and Sharon (Tucker) Kirk, Jr., of Desoto, TX; step father, Sherman Tatum, and maternal grandmother, Hattie Jones “Beanie”. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew and friends.
