Services for Katherine E. Gunn will be at 10AM, Friday, December 3, 2021 at Magnolia Funeral Home, Center Point, LA with Rev. Grady Dodge officiating. Visitation will be from 5PM until 9PM, Thursday, December 2nd and from 8AM until time of service at 10AM, Friday, December 3rd at the chapel. Interment will be at Richey Baptist Cemetery, Deville, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Katherine E. Gunn, 76, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Rogers; father, Alvin Gaspard; sisters, Mary Paulk and Edna Gaspard; brothers, Albert Gaspard, Joe Gaspard and Russell Gaspard.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, William “Bill” Gunn Jr.; seven children, Michael Gunn and wife Gail of Deville, Jerald Gunn and wife Susan of Fifth Ward, Donald Gunn and wife Judy of Fifth Ward, Ricky Gunn, Danny Gunn, Keith Gunn and wife Dana of Deville, and Michelle Descant and husband Leon of Hessmer; one brother, Paul Gaspard of Moncla; seven grandchildren, Eric Gunn, Brittany Cannady, Chauntel Gunn, Andrea Gunn, Edith Descant, Christopher Hennigan, and Michael Hennigan; five great grandchildren, Jasmine Gunn, Aveary Gunn, Adalyn Cannady, Triston Gunn and Braelyn Gunn.

Pallbearers will be George Cannady, Eric Gunn, Steven Gunn, Alvin Tyler, Chris Hennigan and Myron Wilkinson. Honorary pallbearer will be Jasmine Gunn.
