Linda Normand Lemoine, age 74, of Marksville

MARKSVILLE - A memorial service for Linda Normand Lemoine will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. for the family and friends of Linda Lemoine at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marksville. Arrangements were placed in the care of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria.
Linda Normand Lemoine, 74, a retired teacher and life-long resident of Marksville departed this life on Saturday, December 10, 2016 while in the comfort of her own home. A devout Catholic, she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and an avid reader of the Bible.  A cherished and adored friend, Linda touched the lives of many with her delightful presence; she will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.
A beloved mother, Linda is survived by Penny (O'Neal) Hale, Gregory Lemoine, Scott (Kendra) Lemoine and Kristen (Tony Stutts.  Linda was a dearly loved ‘Nana’ of five grandchildren, Kayla, Nealie, Summer, Lindsay, and Remington along with 1 great-grandchild, Emma.
Linda is predeceased by her father, Lawrence Normand, and her mother, Ura Gaspard Normand.
Linda’s family would like to give a special thanks to Christine Armand, Katrina Stanford, Leona Hayes, Shontria Louis, Trness Wilson, Stephanie Alexander, and Doris Horne for the kind and vigilant care that they provided for Linda during her brief plight with cancer.
