Lolita Smith, 82

Lolita Smith, age 82, passed away at her home in Mansura on Thursday, January 25th, 2024.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, Bert Steve Smith, Sr.; sons, Kirk Bordelon (his late wife Wendy), Bert “Stevie” Smith, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Lorraine Bordelon; grandchildren, Ashley Bordelon (Clifton), Joshua Bordelon (Erika), Tyler Bordelon, Dylan Bordelon, and Dalton Bordelon; great-grandchildren, Akira, Dante, and Remy Duplantis, Joshua, Jr. and Ryleigh Bordelon, and Delanie Bordelon. She is also survived by her brothers, Robert Desselle and Elbert Desselle; sisters, Jeanette Adams and Alberta Breecher.

She was preceded in death by her son; Bradley Bordelon; parents, Albert, Sr. and Della Verne Laborde Desselle; her 1st husband, Norbert Bordelon; brothers, Tommy Desselle, Roland Desselle, and Albert Joseph Desselle, Jr.; and her brother-in-law, Roland “Eddie” Bordelon.
