Louise Marie Brouillette Laborde, 92, Marksville

Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Marie Brouillette Laborde will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers with Pastor Richard Newman officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery # 1. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mrs. Laborde, age 92, of Marksville, LA., passed away at her residence surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, December 15, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Joseph Laborde; parents, Gordy and Leliea Beilkeweiz Brouillette; brothers, Gerald Brouillette, Charles Brouillette, Harold J. Brouillette, Hudson Brouillette and Jack Brouillette; one grandson, Taylor Guidry; one granddaughter, Chasity Ryder; and three great grandchildren

Mrs. Louise, was a member of New Life Assembly of God Church and served the Lord first in her life. She was the matriarch of the family. Her children and grandchildren & great grandchildren were the light of her life.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael Laborde (Beverly) of Marksville, Kenneth Laborde of Lake Charles; daughters, Debra Guidry (Lacy) of Marksville, Donna Laborde of Lake Charles; seventeen grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren; and twenty great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will resume on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. until time of services in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers.

Pallbearers honored to serve are David Rivas, Travis Deason, Jr., Daniel Carmouche II, Corey Greenhouse, Dan Paul Laborde and Joseph Laborde. Honorary pallbearer will be Jason Arnaud.
