Funeral services for Mirolyn Kay Denny Jones will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, in The Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with Reverend Ricky Belgard officiating. Burial will follow in Craig Cemetery, Kolin.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will resume on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Pallbearers honored to serve are Kylan Milligan, Dustin Jones, Chase Jones, Blake Moore, Ronny Harrell and Glen Book. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Beaubouef, Michael Milligan, Kelly Bryant, and John Denny.

Mirolyn Kay Denny Jones, 76, of Pineville entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Oak Haven Community Care Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Kay was a loving wife to her husband and mother to her children. She went the extra mile in all that she did in caring for her household. She was known as a very caring friend and confidant. Kay will forever be remembered for sending cards to family, friends, and others throughout the years, with words of love, encouragement, and prayers. Strong in her faith she was an avid prayer warrior from her young adult life and served God and her church in numerous capacities including, Sunday School teacher, children’s director, youth leader and the choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Opal Craig Denny and sisters, Glenda Paulk, Goldie Hogan and Euretha “Tinker” Book.

She left behind a wonderful loving family to cherish her memory: husband of 59 years, Gene Jones; daughter, Gena Kay Jones Milligan and her husband Michael; sons, Glennen “Bubba” Jones and his wife, Sonya and Jody Jones and his wife, Brookie; sister, Barbara Denny Tuma; brother, John Denny; grandchildren, Kayla Harrell (Ronny), Kylan Milligan (Lori), Halie Moore (Blake), Dustin Jones (Leslie) and Chase Jones; 16 great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
