Nelda Bordelon, 93, Marksville

Funeral services for Mrs. Nelda Bonnette Bordelon will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers with Father Dan O’ Connor and Bro. Keith Lamartiniere officiating. Interment will be at St. Joseph Mausoleum #2. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mrs. Bordelon, age 93, of Marksville, LA. passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Matthews Memorial Nursing Home in Alexandria, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Emeric and Janet Dauzat Bonnette; first husband, Hewitt J. Lamartiniere; second husband, Hebert Bordelon; son, Gary Lamartiniere; daughters, Arlene Craig and Gail LaBorde; brothers, Neilson Bonnette, Wiley Bonnette, Tedris Bonnette; sister, Shirley Mayeux.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Wayne Lamartiniere (Cynthia) of Alexandria, LA., Clyde Lamartiniere (Anna) of Marksville, LA.; stepson, Warren Bordelon (Liz) of Marksville, LA; stepdaughter, Janis Kimble (Jim) of Hessmer, LA.; sister. Genevieve Mayeux of Marksville, LA.
She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Chad Bordelon, Thomas Hebert, Shane LaJaunie, Jonathan Barbin, Jimmy Eubanks, and Deagan Eubanks.
