Richard Mayeux, age 84, Hamburg

Funeral Mass for Richard Mayeux of Hamburg will take place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Moreauville on Friday, April 14th, 2023 beginning at 11:00am with Rev. Brian Seiler officiating. Burial will take place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Mausoleum.

Richard Mayeux, age 84, passed away at his home in Hamburg on Monday, April 10th, 2023.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Carlos A. Mayeux, Jr. and Stephen M. Mayeux. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos A. Sr. and Laura Jeanne Decuir Mayeux; sisters, Ruth Marie Fontenot and Margaret Cecilia Dupuy.

Visitation will begin at 4:00pm on Thursday, April 13th, 2023 at the Escude Funeral Home of Moreauville until 9:00pm. A rosary will be recited at 6:30pm on Thursday evening and visitation will resume on Friday morning at 8:00am.
