Ronald "Ronnie" Joseph Lacombe, 73, Bunkie

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Ronald "Ronnie" Joseph Lacombe on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Msgr. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Melancon Funeral Home on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.

Mr. Lacombe, age 73, of Bunkie, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Bayou Vista Nursing and Rehab Center. Ronnie was retired from the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff's Office, with over twenty years of service. He loved fishing, motorcycles, sports, wrestling, CB radios, hunting three wheelers and Bourre'.He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Desselle Lacombe; his parents, Raymond and Alice Lacombe; his sister, Dorothy "Dot" Lacombe Redmon and his great grandson, Carson Lacombe.

He is survived by his four sons, Kevin Lacombe and wife, Chasity, of Bunkie; Brian Lacombe, Coby Lacombe and Huner Lacombe all of Bunkie; his twelve grandchildren, Amber Granger and husband, Cobey Roy, Dillion Lacombe and wife, Frankie Jo Williber,Justin Lacombe and wife, Laken,Lucas Lacombe, Christian Lacombe, Logan Lacombe and wife, Heavenly, Kellie LeDoux and husband, Marvin Ponthier, Layken Lacombe, Lindsey Lacombe, Landon Lacombe, Brianna Lacombe and Kylie Lacombe and ten great grandchildren, Cam Roy, Jayce Roy, Kayden Johnson, Olivia Ponthier, Kaiden Lacombe, Hailey Lacombe, Noah Lacombe, Shyanne Lacombe, Bentley Lacombe and Ethan Torha.

Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Kevin Lacombe, Logan Lacombe, Lucas Lacombe, Justin Lacombe, Coby Lacombe and Christian Lacombe. Honorary Pallbearers are Donnie Lacombe, Marvin Ponthier, Dillion Lacombe and Cobey Roy.
