Shannon Courville, Pineville

Some people only walk this earth for a short time. Their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us.

Graveside services for Shannon Elizabeth Courvile Antley Deveille will be Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Unity Baptist Church Cemetery in Pineville. Arrangements and burial is under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.

Early Sunday morning, September 12, 2021, Shannon Elizabeth Courville Antley Deville, of Pineville, La, tragically lost her life at
just 50 years young in an automobile accident in Waller, TX. Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Darnell Deville
of Deville; her daughter, Meagon Antley of Pineville; her son, Dustin Antley and wife Madeline of Slidell; her three sisters, April Ward
of Waller, Tx, Sandra Mayeux and her husband, Thomas, of Mansura, and Cheri Fogleman of Hessmer and her brother, Kirt Courville of Poland, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Kirtly Courville and Elrina Hines.

She was a very fun, loving, outgoing person with a huge heart who always showed love. Her smile lit up the whole room. She loved her kids and spending all the time she could with them. She was a very talented hair stylist. She wasn’t perfect and didn’t pretend she was, even in the hard times of life she always presented the positive no matter how bad the situation. She was in a very happy place before passing, she accomplished all that she wanted in life. But now, as an angel she is perfect and is watching over all of us.
