Funeral services for Mr. Steve Albert Bardwell, Sr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home with Bro. Leon Descant officiating. Interment will be at the St. Genevieve Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA.
Mr. Bardwell, 67, of Hessmer, LA., passed from this life on Saturday, November 27th, 2021 in Shreveport, LA.
Mr. Bardwell is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lena Paul Bardwell; son, Steve Bardwell, Jr.; brothers, Robert (Bobby) Bardwell, Tim (Greasy) Bardwell, James(JC) Bardwell, Keith (Cup) Bardwell, Arthur(CrankShaft) Bardwell; sisters, Mary Jane LaFrance, Dorothy (Dot) Gonzales; grandson, Everette Scallan.
Those left to cherish his memories are son, Henry (Jessica) Bardwell of Mansura, LA.; daughter, Sharmon (Steve) Aymond of Hessmer, La.; sisters, Julia (Wayne) Dauzat of Vick, LA, Marie Ellen Bordelon of Ball, LA.; eight grandchildren, Courtney Scallan, Braley Aymond, Hunter Bardwell, Dakota Bardwell, Harlon Bardwell, Henly Bardwell, Henson Bardwell, Hazely Bardwell; one great grandchild, Kiara Lewis. He also leaves behind numerous niece’s, nephews, friends, and his only uncle on his mother’s side, St. Clair Paul.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until time of the service on Wednesday in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, LA.
