Violet Carlino, 79, Marksville

Graveside services for Mrs. Violet Marie Carlino will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Paul Cemetery in Forest Hill, LA. with Pastor John Riddle officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mrs. Carlino, age 79, of Marksville, LA. passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her parents, C.D. “ Red” and Gladys Jackson Newman; one brother, Aubrey “Buddy” Newman; sisters, Mary Curcio, Betty Jane Strange, Florence Slaughter; and one grandson, Derek “ D.J.” Williams.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tina Carlino Williams of Marksville; sister, Kathy Ulry (Michael) of Leads, AL.; one granddaughter, Kelsey Ward of Alexandria, LA.; two great grandchildren, Parker Shaw and Cian Ward; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Bobby Pierite, Rudy Wamsbsgans, Todd Voiselle, Brent Barbre, Mike Ulry and Eddie Pierite.
