Avoyelles Parish baseball is 8-1, softball teams go 5-6 before season suspended

This past week was the last baseball/softball action at least until mid-April, due to high schools being closed and sporting events cancelled until April 13.

Five Avoyelles Parish youth earn honors at national PP&K event

Five Bunkie area youth won national honors during the recent Punt, Pass and Kick competition at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.

Avoyelles Parish high school baseball, softball season now underway

Basketball season is nearing its end, but high school sports fans still have baseball and softball to quench their thirst for athletic competitions.
